Incremental backup with automatic full versions after 10 increments
Hi,
I want my True Image to do incremental backups, as I do daily backups and even the increments can be 10 GB per day.
Every 10th increment, I want a full backup (for safety), though. This however seems not to work. I attached my settings and a screenshot of the verison chain consolidation menu. See here:

What am I doing wrong and how can I fix this? Thanks!

Ok I can create a new task.
How can I keep using the previous files and their versions.
Also I don't want to "only" store 10 versions. I am sure my backup can last back hundreds of versions until I run out of disk space.
What would I do then?
I recreated a task, but couldn't add the old versions into it.
Thanks

In post #1 above, my selection of 10 was a continuation of what I thought your intention was.
Note instruction #5 which is to store 1 chain, you certainly can increase the number of chains (instruction 5) to a larger number. For example, if each of your chains is 1 day (1 full +10 inc), then increasing the instruction 5 from1 to 7 would increase your storage of 7 days or 77 files (7 x 11). Or, change the instuction 5 to any number you choose. I wouuld NOT increase the number of incrementals (10 inc) due to the risk factor of having larger number of incrementals depending upon one single full backups.
