Icon Backup running in the background does not present
Good morning, we noticed that the 2014 version of Acronis, all the scheduled backup jobs initiated from the PC are no longer marked by the icon in the bottom right of the screen (on the taskbar). You can tell when a backup job is running only if you open the program. You can restore that icon so comfortable? The operating system used is Windows 8.1 32-bit.
Thank you very much!

In the program workspace screen you should find a settings menu from which you should choose "Integrate True Image into Windows". This should allow you to choose which components and how TI interacts with Windows. The program should display a Button on the task bar that shows operation progress by a shaded background moving from left to right as progress goes on. See attached link:

Hello Bob, thanks for the reply, but the icon on the taskbar is not listed on the menu integration. In this menu only appears "tab in the properties window Acronis" and "commands of the menu shortcut." You place the image even if it is in Italian. I do not know what to do! The backup that I set starts without reporting anything and the icon in the tray icon made me very comfortable. Do you think you can do something?
Thank you again!

Unfortunately no I cannot offer a solution. Hopefully someone else on the Forum may help.

As a workaround, one thing you could consider would be to create a simple batch notification file, and use the TrueImage Pre/post Pre command file to run the batch file.
The file could display a message on the screen and await your closure of that screen before the backup would begin.
I know the solution is not very elegant but it would work.

GroverH Hello, thanks for the reply. You'd be able to write exactly the procedure? I'm not a programmer and do not know where to start! I remind you that use Windows 8.1 and I hope to receive a reply. Thanks for everything!

I'm using Windows 8.1. When a backup task is run the icon is shown briefly and then hidden in the tray until it has something new to report like "Task Complete". By default Windows 8.1 only shows the notification. You can change this by clicking the "Show hidden icons" arrow, then "customize", and then click "Show icon and notification" in the drop down menu next to the Acronis True Image Monitor.

Hi all, I have solved my problem! I had the monitor Acronis disabled at startup. And 'Just turn it on, reboot, and the icon at the beginning of the backup is magically reappeared. Thank you all the same!
