Hide a Raid or HDD

Thread needs solution

Hello,

we use a computer to save a lot of images from different computers.
To prevent a mistake, restore an image to the HDD of this computer (already appends :-( ), it's possible to remove an HDD from the list when we restore an image?

The computer is under XP SP3 with True Image 2014 Premium

If you want to remove a disk from the computer for a restore, simply disconnect the SATA cable temporarily, restore using the recovery CD, and then reconnect. Keep note of which cable goes to which disk so that you get each disk back to its original connector. This is particularly important on motherboards which might have different controllers...

Hello,

thanks for your response, but this solution is not acceptable in a company that produces computers and it's not user friendly!!!

Care to explain your needs further? Maybe with more details a solution might be reached.

I have a backup computer with all images :
One RAID with 2 HDD for the OS
One RAID with 2 HDD for the images

When I want to restore an image to a new HDD (I connect the new HDD to the computer), in the list of the HDD we can see the 2 RAID system of my backup computer. I want to hide the 2 RAID's from this computer to prevent a mistake.
Because, a week ago, a collegue restore an image in the HDD with the OS (Now it was replaced by a RAID).
