Too Many Activations
I am moving to a new box and I cannot get Acronis True Image Home 2014 to work. I keep getting too many activations and it shuts down itself. What can I do this is driving me nuts. When I look at my account it shows I have 2009, 2011 and 2014, What a hassle!

My motherboard failed, when replaced, Acronis TI 2014 will no longer work due to too many activations error.
I am unable to get to the activation website because Acronis TI 2014 suffers an application crash when it tries to reach the activation website.
I have completely removed Acronis TI 2014 and re installed it from the original file used for the original installation of Acronis TI 2014 at the time of purchase, but the application still crashes when trying to reach the activation website.

Hello Harry,
thank you for you posting.
I had to delete the chat transcript since posing it violates our Terms of Use.
However, I looked into the situation and will be glad to explain it to you.
The thing is, that we provide free support for activation issues even if your basic support program is expired.
But it is true works activation issues only. As far as I see from your chat, you faced a full program crash while trying to activate the program.
It looks like an unrelated to activation itself technical issue, that is why our supporter suggested purchasing PPI. In any case if after investigation it becomes clear that the issue is on our side, we refund the cost of the support fee.
You mentioned that you completely removed and reinstalled the program and it didn't help. Have you used a cleanup tool?
Thank you.

Thank you for your help. I have corrected the problem, and TI 2014 is now re-activated.
This was a problem with Windows Internet Explorer 11, or the installation of Windows Internet Explorer 11 on this computer. I un-installed IE 11 and went back to IE 10. After computer reboot, the connection to the Acronis Activation website worked correctly, and re-activation was no problem.

Problem: True Image 2014 complains: “Too many activations for one serial number. Resolve problem”
I installed the software on a HP LapTop running Windows 8.1. Program will not run without crashing. So I decided to re-install it on a different PC running Windows 7 Pro SP1. Program seems to run OK but complains “Too many activations for one serial number. Resolve problem”. I believe I read and followed the on-line documentation for preforming moving the software to a new PC but the program still complains. I clicked on the “Resolve problem” link displayed and re-interned the move request but the problem is stilled not resolved.
A separate issue: I tried to “uninstall” the program from the original Windows 8.1 PC but the un-install failed.
IS THERE A FIX FOR THIS PROBLEM?
