How to add RAID drivers to Acronis WinPE bootable disc

Thread needs solution

I have been trying to follow the instructions in kb 46255 for building an Acronis WinPE bootable disc, but don't see any specific instructions for adding necessary RAID drivers during the build. Please explain in detail (using simple instructions) how to inject my RAID Drivers into the build process.

Thanks in advance.

I took a chance and added the RAID-drivers folder to C:\winpe_x86\ISO\boot. Everything seemed to be progressing properly, (adding to the WIM file?), when I got a BSOD exclaiming:
MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

I removed a recently installed bluetooth Linksys AC wireless dongle and tried again, but got the same result. I'm at a loss as to how to proceed to successfully create the Acronis WinPE bootable disc.

PLEASE HELP!!

You can also use MustangPE. It is simpler. Just follow the link in my signature below. Download the MustangPE WAIK or ADK version that matches what is installed on your system. Also download the MustangPE plugin for TI 2014. Detailed instructions are in the readme.txt files after you install MustangPE and the TI plugin.

"If it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have no luck at all."
Thanks for your instructions. Unfortunately, after the first command line (which I thought would be impossible to duplicate without an error), I got the result:
Error 3
The system cannot find the path specified.

I investigated and realized I don't have a "media" subdirectory; 'sources" is in the ISO subdirectrory. But why can't I just place my RAID drivers folder inside the "boot" subdirectory of ISO and then run the Acronis Add-Ons process? Why must I do the lengthy command lines?

In any event, whether or not I include the drivers folder, during the course of Acronis Add-Ons doing something with the WIM file, my system crashes with a BSOD: MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

I can't believe what an ordeal this has been, without any success.

I think you have a Microsoft WAIK on your system instead of an ADK. That explains why you need to use the ISO folder. Shame on Microsoft for making this change that makes it difficult for everyone.

I would say the BSOD during the build indicates you have a problem with your system. Acronis is using standard Microsoft tools provided in the WAIK. I would recommend you try the process on a different computer.

Yes, it is AIK that I'm fiddling with.
The first few times I received the BSOD, the Event Viewer indicated it was related to RAID. I have since resolved that issue by recreating a RAID1 array (by having the 2nd drive mirror off the first). Now when the BSOD occurs, the Event Viewer is NOT indicating ANY problem. Where else can I look to find out what is causing the conflict?

Unfortunately, I can't use another computer for the process because my laptop won't read a disc that isn't factory or that it didn't create itself. Otherwise I would have done that LONG ago.

Would you by chance be running Logmein on your machine? If so there is a reported bug with the latest version of it that causes the BSOD error you are experiencing.

It is no longer loading at boot up, but I'll try deleting it altogether to see if that helps.

BTW, I've had no luck with dvrloader.exe (which doesn't exist on my laptop), nor with dism.exe (whose command lines are too long and intricate for my abilities anyway). You're sure I can't just locate the RAID drivers in the "boot" subdirectory of ISO?

I really appreciate your help resolving my Acronis issues stemming from TI 2014 Premium not recognizing my Toshiba Qosmio's RAID controller.

Uninstalling Logmein should resolve your issues with BSOD, on the other I cannot help.

As is typical of my luck todate with Acronis 2014 Premium, although uninstalling Logmein should have resolved resolved the problem, it didn't. ;(

So, I'm running Win XP sp3, and I have Acronis TI 2014 Premium, including the Media add-on plugin, Win AIK and, now, MustangPE_2 installed. I placed my RAID drivers folder in the MustangPE Plugins folder. But when I run Acronis Media Add-on, it pulls in BartPE and I eventually get the BSOD I mentioned in earlier postings.

Please provide simple instructions for how to create the Acronis bootable CD using MustangPE, while including my required RAID drivers. I'm hoping this will run successfully and not culminate in a BSOD.

Thanks in advance.
