Changing SID during restore of Windows disk image
Thread needs solution
Does Universal Restore need to be installed in order to find and use the "Change SID after recovery"? I just upgraded my installation from Backup & Recovery 10.0 to 11.5 and the option to change SID after restore is no longer listed in "Recovery options..." under "Additional Settings".
I performed a full disk image backup and must change the SID for the machine after restore...

I had a machine fail. When I tried to restore files to windows 8.1 I could not! The SID prevent me from seeing the folders! I had to find my old version of True Image in order to use my backup files. This must be fixed our your new software is useless. I am using the older versions of your software!
