Selectively restore files based on date created ?

Thread needs solution

Can you restore files created in a 3 month old full backup that are/were created on/or after a certain date. ? I have managed to screw up my Libraries in Win 7 Pro 64bit. I have a full backup from 3 months ago...and a full backup from today.

Is there a way to fully restore the 3 month old backup and then selectively restore only files/folders that have been created from that point to the present via today's full backup ?

That way if I loose something...which I don't think I will I can always recover it from today's full backup.

I know anything installed in between will not be there...but other than updates...I don't think I've installed anything for a long time.

If I restore the system to the state 3 months ago...how do I selectively restore only files created since that date 3 months ago thru today's date from today's full backup ?

Thanks...TRinAz

Greetings,
File level recovery does not allow you to specify criteria such as date. You will have to select those files you want to recover. One option would be to recover them to another folder, then compare and discard what you don't want or need.
