Impossible to stop a task. What do we have to do?

Thread needs solution

I click "Stop" but these tasks don't stop! Last two tasks.
Rebooting didn't help.
What do we have to do?

I have noticed the same issue. I think the Problem is one client PC (or even more), who didn't speak with the AMS, to tell it "Im done with my task".
It`s a really bad bug, because you can't stop/edit a job.
The "solution" is to reboot the client PC, which is not talking to the AMS.
On the Client - all Acronis services are started and everything looks fine.. but no Idea why it won't submit Information to the AMS. After a reboot it's fine again.

Question to Acronis: why isn't there a timeout? Can I set such a timeout(how)?
How can I override this from the AMS and stop my job even if I don't reboot my clients?

Ok, so we don't have exactly the same Problem, but we're both looking for a way to force stop the running tasks..

I'm also looking for a way to do this without restarting the machine. I have Acronis Backup and Recovery 11.5 running on some servers and recently the tasks have been locking up part way through. When I click the task and then Stop, it just stares at me and does nothing. I can't ever get out of the task to start a new one unless I restart the server, which is less than convenient and not often possible.

If anyone has a resolution to this problem, I'd greatly appreciate if you could share : )

Thanks!

There is a bug in the old version.
In the new version 11.5 it is fixed already.

This bug has not been fixed, I have the latest version and I can't stop a task without rebooting the server.
Rebooting the server is a big headache and this issue needs to be fixed. This issue has been around and the
only major flaw I have seen in the software. I have been using Acronis since version 8.

As I know, I do not get it any more. please check that your poliocy (that is running), do only one task and not running several tast one after another (so, is you stop one tast, the next one is starting...)
