Application crash: Acronis

Thread needs solution

Please help...

So I downloaded the trial version of ABR11.5 for virtualization.. I've installed in on two different platforms, Windows 2k8, and 2k12, I've also tried both physical and virtual servers. I'm trying to convert a backup, to a virtual machine (I know the trial will not let me virtualize it directly to my host). So the issue that I have is when I attempt to "Save my backup as a set of files", I can select my backup, and select the server to perform the conversion, but that's where it fails, the application crashes.

Looking at the details I have:
Appcrash
AcronisManagementConsole.exe

Fault
VirtualMachines.dll

After that its a bunch of jibberish, well numbers...

I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling, virtual servers, physical servers... restarting services..ect I get the same result no matter what. I've tried googling the issue, but not much has been found on it. Can someone here please help me with this?

There are no known issues like yours. You need to contact support regarding this. Please collect crash dump of ManagementConsole.exe usign either ProcDump ( http://kb.acronis.com/content/27931 )
or Task Manager http://kb.acronis.com/content/6265 (this one is about hung process, but the steps are the same for the crash where Windows displays 'the application stopped working' window; pay attention to the "launch 32 bit version of Windows Task Manager " part). Zip the dump file and upload it to ftp server address provided by support. It's unlikely that reinstall will solve the problem (in this case it more likely crash on startup but not in this specific case)
