Acronis incompatibilty with Samsung hardware

Thread needs solution

Wondering if anyone can help.
I have used Acronis 2009 and 2010 on several other laptops and PC's before now with never a problem however I have a new Samsung R519 laptop that Acronis takes nearly 2 hours to perform backups/recovery on using an external usb drive.

When using Usb boot media or in Windows the Samsung is so slow to clone. I know it is not the image or the hard drive at fault as I tried using the Samsung image (on the external usb) on a similar spec Toshiba laptop and it took all of 10 minutes to clone. Put the same usb hard drive back into the Samsung and its still not completed after 1 hour 30 mins.

Anyone got a solution for this? I presume its the Acronis drivers of the usb or chipset not being compatible with the machine somewhere along but this is just a guess.

Urgent I get this fixed asap so any help at all is apprieciated

After the awful lack of support and help this was finally fixed for those with a similar problem.

The machine wasn't fully compatible with the full ATI software and needed the Linux command line ACPI=OFF NOAPIC. The laptop now clones in a normal 15 mins as opposed to 2 hours.

Cheers Acronis....
