How to delete older BU versions

Thread needs solution

Is there a setting where TI2014 can be programmed to remove older Backup versions automatically to conserve disk space automatically. Currently I'm using Version Chain in Backup Scheme and scheduled to backup once everyday.

In the backup drive I see 3 sets of one Full backup and thereafter 6 respective differential chains and its just growing, I'm afraid it'll run out of space on the backup drive an I'll have problems figuring out which older files to delete. The software should be able to do this on its own?

Please help.

Yes, it is possible to set up a new backup scheme (Custom/Differential/Automatic Cleanup as per the example GH13 & GH14, You can set the setting of how my diff to keep per chain and how many chains to keep.
Once the program reaches the designated number of chains to keep, then the oldest chain (full + X Diff) will be deleted after the replacment full has been created and this deletion will happen with each new chain created.

You will need to stop using your current task and create a new task pointing to a new storage folder.

If you need to delete some old chains, the GH5 link will show you how.
