Product does not stay activated.

Thread needs solution

Every time I open Acronis True Image 2014 the following line appears in a yellow line at the bottom of the screen and is preceded by a yellow triangle with an exclamation point in it "Hardware ID has changed. Change serial number Active now".

When I go to Help - About True Image the proper serial number is shown and underneath it says "Full Version: x days left for activation". If I click on activate it replies the "Activation has completed successfully". If I exit True Image and then restart it, I get the same message as above all over again.

If I do not happen to start True Image within 30 days the whole product deactivates. What do I have to do to keep the product activated permanently?

If you have not done so, register your 2014 serial number into your personal Acronis Web Account.

then, go on into Aconis Live support and use the Live chat featre.

which version of Windows?

Other users have indicated that a Repair install solves this issue.
