Acronis Backup 11.5 will not allow me to resize partitions during restore. I am trying to restore a 80GB image onto a 500GB hard drive. I can only restore the disk image which leaves 420GB unallocated. I am using WinPE recovery media via usb and the image resides on the same usb. Any help would be appreciated.

Restore from removable media (such as CD, DVD) with resize is not possible. Unfortunately this includes 'removable' usb flash drives (which report themselves as removable), it's a known bug.

According to our bugtracker (ABR-39915) it was fixed in the Update 3 (build 38573) . If it's reproduced for you in this build, I'd suggest contacting our support.
