PC migration
Thread needs solution
Sorry if this is sounds like a simple question but this is the first time I've migrated to a new PC.
I have True Image 10 Home installed on my current PC and store backups on an external hard drive.
I have all 'my' data (photos, documents, Outlook pst etc) in partition D and the Windows OS and apps installed in partition C.
I have bought a new PC with Windows 8.1.
Can you confirm that I have got this right?
1) I purchase the True Image 2014 upgrade by downloading it to my new PC and install it there.
2) I create a D partition on my new PC, plug in my external hard drive and can use True Image 2014 to restore the True Image 10 backup of my D partition.
Thanks for your help.
