Home 2010 can't find network adapter on ACER 5740-5513 when booting from CD
I want to backup to a network attached drive from the bootable CD but Home 2010 doesn't the network adapter in the notebook pc. When I check "tools and utilities"/options, there are no network adapters shown.
Is there a newer version of Home 2010 (or a patch) that will support the "Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit" network adapter in this ACER?

Thank you for opening the thread and letting us know that the issue got resolved by installing the latest build.
I just wanted to suggest a solution for future in case you face the same issue:
Should this happen again, please, kindly log into your account here, and download the latest Acronis Bootable Rescue Media as show on the screenshot. Please burn the ISO image using appropriate writing software such as Nero or Roxio Easy CD Creator which runs on your computer. This image is a full working copy of the boot disc for Acronis True Image. After you create a boot disc from the downloaded file, please check its functionality and inform us if there are any problems.
We recommend you to refer to the following article if you are not familiar with ISO burning.
