I can't restore my Images stored on the Acronis Secure Zone!!!

Thread needs solution

hi there

i have to set up several notebooks with two different os (both windows vista x86 with some default stuff on it like adobe reader, office, etc...). the plan was to store them both als >>full image<< on the asz (startup recovery manager activated) so they can switched/restored within minutes without the need for an external drive or something like this. everything is working fine as long as i store only ONE image! At the moment i create the second image in the asz, none of them will work! they both appear as archives but i won't be able to restore them. i'm told that they are empty or damaged.

the notebooks are standalone, everything is installed and stored locally.

is someone out there who had the same problem and is able to provide a solution?

Hello blubb blabb,

Thank you for reporting about the issue, I will be glad to help you.

Most probably the backups are not corrupted, but just cannot be properly identified. We have an ability to change the type of Acronis Secure Zone partition from hidden to usual and extract the backups from it, so I would like to send you the Acronis Bootable Rescue Media  which you can use for extracting the images.

I would like to provide you with this Acronis Bootable Rescue Media, but for it I need to know the products you are using, so could you please kindly register the licenses you own here, and contact me directly after it?

I would also appreciate if you could kindly specify to me

  • the full name of the product you are using
  • where Acronis Secure Zone is located
  • Could you please provide us with the exact sequence of actions that lead to the problem you report, so that we can reproduce it?

I will be waiting for your reply!

Thank you in advance for cooperation!
