Hello, i'll try my best in english!

2day i received my new coputer, i get my old sata-harddrive 400GB out of the old computer and put it into the new one....after installing winXP sp3 and registering by phone, i want to make a backup with my acronis 11 rescue cd...and i got this error - no harddrive found!

Hmm, same hardrive + acronis works for me on the old computer!?!?

Ok i try this one: acpi=off noapic noapm quiet
and i also intall the *.MSI Driver
but noting works :-(

I want to make sone a backup of my C:\

can someone halp my (very sone) ?

Forgot to write:
I have ONLY the rescue CD (ISO) witch i made from the original Acronis CD 11 German language,
My orig. CD was killed by my lovely dother :-( so i can not install the cd anymore

Most likely, the TI CD doesn't have the drivers necessary for the new computer. The problem is support for the drive controller, not the drive.

You may want to try the current version of TI (2010) or possibly the SafeMedia version of TI 11.

You should be able to download the installer from your Acronis account if you've registered it.
