How to fix the error in the event log (It is detected that the virtual appliance crashed earlier)
I have Acronis vmProtect 8.0 (build 8.0.8184) virtual machine. It works fine without issues but every time I restart it I see the error in the event log:
It is detected that the virtual appliance crashed earlier. Please contact Acronis support.
Several months ago I tried to power the appliance down when I had storage failure (connected to vmProtect appliance as internal drive). Since this I have this error in the event log of the vmProtect appliance. How to fix/remove this error?
Thanks

I don't need version 9, my version 8 as I said works fine for me. It crashed when I had storage failure. How to delete /tmp/core file to fix my issue?
Thank you

Hi,
You can check the troubleshooting section in the following KB article:
https://kb.acronis.com/content/36100
It describes how to connect to appliance via WinSCP, which gives you access to file management, where you can remove the /tmp/core file. Alternatively you can simply switch to command prompt in appliance GUI (opened in vSphere console) via Ctrl+Shift+Alt+Space+F1, then Alt+F2 and issue "rm -rf /tmp/core" command.
Thank you.
