Can I use TI Home 2010 for Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit? more...

Thread needs solution

I reaslise that to do an "upgrade" from Windows 7 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit requires a clean install.

However, can I use TI home 2010 backups to restore documents etc on to the new 64 bit build? I am using Easy Transfer for key settings, Outlook etc, but this is too slow for the documents.

If so, can I just use a Rescue disk? ( by backups are stored on a NAS).

Or do I have to reinstall TI on the new build and then restore the docs etc?

Thanks,

Muzz

It will be useful to install TI on your 64 bit system. This will let you use windows explorer to explore the .tib files and copy your documents from the NAS to the 64 bit system.
