Does ATIH 2010 b6053 Work With Netbooks?

Thread needs solution

I'm test driving ATIH 2010 and already like it better than Ghost - because it actually works. :)

I've backed up my Notebook (Restore worked fine), my Desktop (Once I hooked in a wired USB Mouse the Restore worked), and my Acer Aspire One Netbook, and here's where the problem lies...

When I boot the system from the Restore CD I created, I get that Acronis can't find any Hard Drives.

I should also mention that I backup all the system images to a Seagate FreeAgent Go (320G) and it works fine with the Notebook and Desktop. I can try the 'Legacy USB' setting in the CMOS but that still doesn't explain why it can't fnd the internal Hard Drive of the Netbook itself.

Thanks! :)

Additional Info...

OK - I found out that there's nothing in the NetBook CMOS regarding Legacy USB Support so I can't change anything there.

On a whim I decided to go ahead and download the Netbook Edition and give it a try. All I did was create the Restore CD to see if it would at least get further than the other one and after you select to start the True Image Home (instead of Windows), it starts loading Part 2 and then the screen goes black and my Capslock indicator starts to slowly flash. At this point the only option I have is to power cycle. It did this 3x in a row so I'm guessing it's what's going to happen all the time. :/

Any ideas?

Thanks! :)

See if you can get build 5055. I know someone who uses this on a Netbook (Lenovo) and it works for him.

I'm getting the same thing with the blinking Caps Lock key on my HP Mini 110-1020NR. Any resolution?

The next guess is that the boot CD which uses the Linux OS, doesn't have the driver to allow it to see your external drive.
The workaround is to make a BartPE cd in which the True Image plug-in is embedded.
You might also try going to your Acronis account and see if there is a special ISO file available for download.
