Acronis Backup&Recovery Keeps rebooting
After first uninstalling Echo Workstation, I install the latest (11105) AB&R. All is fine until I reboot the workstation. It does not blue screen as I read in a similar post, but instead boots almost to the CTRL-ALT-DEL and then it restarts. It will do this restart over and over - until I manually F8 into safe mode.
This is on a networked workstation running Vista 32 bit w/SP3. Is this the same issue as the problem where removing USB devices will fix it? I don't mind doing this, except the other poster mentioned that putting them back brought the reboot problem back.
Help Please!
Thanks

Hello C Wilkins,
Thank you for choosing Acronis Backup & Recovery 10,
PC reboot during Windows loading screen means BSOD too, in order to check it, please press F8 key during Windows load and choose Disable Automatic Reboot
In Windows XP, the default setting is for the computer to reboot automatically when a fatal error occurs. If that fatal error only occurs when you're shutting down, the system reboots automatically.
If you haven't changed any of the system failure settings (only for the cases when you're able to boot your OS), you should be able to see the error by looking in the Event Log. But a better long-term solution is to turn off the automatic reboot so you can actually see the error when it happens—chances are it will tell you enough about itself to let you troubleshoot further. To change the recovery settings to disable automatic rebooting:
1.Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
2.Click the Advanced tab.
3.Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings to open the Startup and Recovery dialog box.
4.Clear the Automatically restart check box, and click OK the necessary number of times.
5.Restart your computer for the settings to take effect.
Could you please make a digital photo of BSOD and attach it to your answer, so we can check its contents?
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.

Alexander, as stated previously, this issue occurs on startup - not shutdown, after manually restarting the machine the first time after installation.

Alexander,
As stated, this machine does not currently have this problem, as I have re-imaged it back to a working condition and am back using ECHO workstation as my backup solution.
I do not intend to purposely blow this machine up again. So - I cannot use your product it seems..? Glad I only purchased 2 licenses as a test.
