Anybody use the TI 11 Recovery CD with *Parallels* on the Mac?

Here's the problem...

On the Mac, I can make a new Parallels 5 VM. It will boot the Acronis CD. However, the CD-booted VM will *not* see my external USB drive (unmounted from the Mac desktop and supposedly mounted into the VM.)

With VMWare Fusion 3, though -- this works -- I can also boot from the CD and the external USB drive will be seen, so I can copy my Windows VM to an external drive (or recover from it.)

Has anybody been able to make the Acronis CD work with Parallels 5?
