Hello,

i just bought a version of true image home 2010. After reading the instructions i still got an important question.

Is ist possible to transfer the full backup and incremental backup to a new pc if the usually used one is stolen and i still got the backup data on an external hd?

In that situation you will be trying to Recover to different hardware and it requires an add-on called Universal Restore, which, for the Home version of True Image comes in the Plus Pack.

However, it may be better to reinstall all the Apps, including True Image and use TI to explore the Backups and copy your data (like documents, photos, music and movies,) to the new system. This method avoids putting all the garbage that accummulates in the Registry over time on to the new system.
