Remove backup from Desktop
I made a full backup of my computer. To check it, I restored a partition to the desktop. No trouble. As I don't need this backup on my desktop now, I attempted to delete it. I wasn't allowed. How do I remove it to the Bin?

Hello Kevin,
I'll do my best to help you with the issue.
I have several possible workarounds for you:
- Please reboot into a Safe Mode and try to delete your backup. If you don't know how to boot into a Safe Mode, please follow the directions from this article.
- You can use any 3rd-party software, such as a free utility called Unlocker to delete necessary files.
Please let me know if the issue still persists, I'll be glad to assist you further.
Thank you

Thank you, Ilya. I went into Safe Mode, got to my Desktop, tried to delete the two folders - but got the same message.
The Unlocker website was heavily described as being completely unsafe so I did not go any further there.
I would certainly appreciate your further help. These two folders on my D/top are superfluous but I'm damned if I can get rid of them.

I downloaded Unlocker from the cnet site, installed it and ran it. It did the job perfectly. The two folders are gone.
Thank you very much.

I removed the backup archive accidentally through Acronis True Image Home 2010 . How can I undo the operation?
Thank you
