Impossible to create a new partition

Hi all
I'm using True Image 2014 and I was trying to create a new partition in my "C" HD, but I couldn't:
after the first step - when the existing partition are shown - I'm not able to SELECT the partition where to create the new one in. (see the attachment please). Obviously I cannot go on.

I have an Acer Aspire notebook, and the HD is already partitioned in 2 partitions:
PQS (hidden), that I suppose is the original Acer recovery partition, and "C".

I already read that the hidden default notebook partitions and the Acronis Secure Zones cannot coexist.
But my purpose is to create a "normal" new partition (not a a ASZ one).
Any help, please?

I gave up! :-( I used the Windows disk management tools.
Sometimes I wonder how easy it is to waste my money.
