All the negativity... just a thought for next time, either TI2015 update 1, or TI2016

Thread needs solution

Seeing all the negative comment on TI2015 makes me wonder whether it would be possible to have one version with two "skins".

There could be a "Home user" and "Professional" mode. One the simplified and dummed down interface and one offering all the features. That is assuming the features haven't been removed because of functionality issues.

For all the negative comments, I wonder how many more will actually take to the new design. If you took a typical home user used to say W8.1 and smartphones and so on, and they have never used Acronis, would they prefer the look and feel of TI2014 or TI2015. I'm not saying Acronis have got it right with this first departure from the more familiar screens we are used to, they haven't... but equally, at some point things have to change and move forward.

Well there is a professional version of Acronis (last time I checked). The pricing model of that turned me off last time I checked and the features list tells you that it is set up more for a corporate environment (with centralized management)

I wouldn't doubt that some of the confusing parts we see on the Home side of things are there because they share the same core systems under the hood with pro. I don't know what the Pro version's GUI looks like, hopefully not like this.

Hello everyone,

thank you for you postings and your feedback.

Mooly, you request concerning two modes for Acronis True Image 2015 has been registered as TI-23629 and will be reported to the program and UX managers.
Thank you.

Benjamin, you are talking about professional version of Acronis Backup for PC and Acronis Backup Advanced for PC. For more details please see User GUIDEs: Acronis Backup for PC - http://www.acronis.com/en-us/download/docs/abpc11.5/userguide
and Acronis Backup Advanced for PC - http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/documentation/AcronisBackup_11.5/#…

Thank you.
Kind regards,

Thanks for taking the idea on board Sergey. A feature like that could be a winner for Acronis...
