BartPE plugin issue - cannot select drives for backup
Hello,
I just added the Acronis Backup and Restore 10 plugin to my BartPE cd following instructions in the KB8219 article. The program loads without errors and it can see all my drives when browsing vaults or starting a new file based backup. When I try to start a disk/volume based backup no disks are visible for selection? Has anyone else had this issue and found a fix for it?
Thanks,
Dan

Oleg,
Thank your for responding.
Yes I can see all drives from the Acronis program when booted normally into Windows. I can also see all drives when booted from my BartPE media using all other programs except Acronis. For example I can see all my drives from within Free Commander and other utilities on my BartPE disk. I can even see the drives from within Acronis under BartPE when browsing vaults. The only time the drives do not appear is when I try to select a backup source or a restore destination from in Acronis. I included the log you requested and a couple screenshots I took while running Acronis under my BartPE media.
Thanks,
Dan

Hello Dan,
Thank you for your response.
Acronis Report is able to detect the hard drive. Just to be sure, your system has one hard drive and one USB stick, is this correct?
Are you able to see the hard drives under Acronis Bootable Media? Is the issue related to BartPE disk only?
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Please do not hesitate to ask additional questions if the provided information is not clear or you need a further assistance.
Thank you.

Hello Dan,
i had the same issue. You can solve this problem with this steps.
1. Use the PeBuilder and build the files (normaly BartPE folder), don't make an iso at this moment.
2. Copy the snapapi.dll from the the Acronis Plugin folder to thecreated folder BartPE\ i386\system32 folder and the snapman.sys to the i386\system32\driver folder.
3. Now create the iso, burn it and start it and i hope this problem will be solved.
For me this workaround solved the problem. (After trying many different things for two days)
