ATI 2015 - I've had it!

Thread needs solution

I have tried my darnest, but cannot find a way to get any use out of ATI2015(B6055). I do not want any kind of automatic backup but can find no way to turn off the scheduler except actually editing and disabling the service(s). Then it complains all time. You have assumed "big brother" and you know best. Sorry, you don't. You have gone the way of Microsoft with its Vista and Windows 8 failures. You listen to your yuppies and not your customers. You've turned a pretty good product, needing only a few tweaks and features into a totally complicated monster that can't even figure out how to provide usb mouse/keyboard support. You have my email address but only use it for marketing as I get no "update available" emails. I have to scour the forum for such things.

I'll be uninstalling 2015 and devote my time and money on EaseUS WS.

Couldn't agree more. I stupidly, repeat STUPIDLY upgraded to this Win8 look-a-like version. I want more control not less. I cannot put my data at risk by letting ATI do the 'Big Brother I Know Best' thing.
With all the flack MS got over the Win8 desktop, we now have Acronis doing exactly the same thing - unbelievable.
How about bolting on the old version 6 interface over the current engine, I'd be happy and I dare say so would many others.

I agree too!
Used True Image first time with the version 8 since 2005.
I bought all following versions and i was really happy with Acronis TrueImage!
All updates since the times were better and sometimes less good - but the 2015 version is disappointing.

I uninstalled the version 2015 and I returned the software back!

Gary,
2015 has its shortcomings but it is possibloe to create a non-scheduled backup with each new task so the backups run only when you want them to.
So a scheduled backup is really not forced upon you, but
same as the 2014 version, user must take the one extra step to save the task as non-scheduled instead of saving as a scheduled task.
