TI2015 re-write boot recorg and requests reboot without real need

Thread needs solution

Environment: Windows8.1 Update 1, x64.
Backups: some backups of the 1st partition of USB drive were created on a partition of a 2nd internal disk.
Restore: after re-allocation of the space on USB disk mentioned I've started restore of the 1st partition of this disk from the last backup. Acronis have requested re-boot and inform that otherwise operation will terminated. OK, I've agreed and a small *nix program getting control after re-boot have succeed to restore. But could anybody explain me the LOGIC: what for it was necessary to use re-boot and *nix code if restore without any problem could be performed in active Windows8.1 ?
No one system file of an active system was allocated on that USB-disk partition, only OneDrive directory is allocated on the 2nd internal disk partition where backups resides. When backups were created Acronis NEVER requested re-boot by the reason that OneDrive resides on the same partition with backups. I have one and only guess: 1st partition of USB disk is WTG partition and TI2015 code have decided to request re-boot into *nix code to prevent conflict with a system which is not running. This is a bug and it need to be fixed. To say nothing about VSS yet not implemented. And the junk need to be cleared: acroldr directory created by TI before the re-boot was not deleted after *nix code finished restore operation.

I have performed the same restore operation in the same environment many times with Acronis TI 2013 and always it was performed without reboot. That is reboot requested is a feature of TI 2015 which was absent in previous versions.

In theory yes, it wouldn't need a reboot if the disk or partition to be restored is not a bootable disk (ie there is no information in the backup that would indicate the content is an active bootable OS).
Not sure whether your case is because of a bug in the software, or some information in the image that throws ATI off.
At any rate, across all scenarios, it is safer to do partition restores from the recovery CD.

Well, with TI2013 I've done restore in the same environment many times without any problems though rather seldom. The WTG-partition has TI2013 updated till TI2015 namely to have an opportunity to backup/restore unternal partitions without any reboots. I've done it many hundreds times. I HATE that reboots as once during such a reboot my WTG booting started instead of form Acronis RAM-drive created. That is why my reaction is so angry, sorry for you but it is OBVIOUSLY that in 2015 logic became worse then in 2013.

Just inform, please development/testers team about my case and let them decide what should be done, sorry for aggressiveness.
