ABR 11 Failed Backup, The requested feature is not found...

Thread needs solution

İ have "Acronis Backup and Recovery Advanced Server" Licence.

1st Machine = Windows 7 x64 (Acronis Management Server)

2st Machine = Windows Storage Server 2008 with SP1 (Acronis Storage Node)

3st Machine = Windows Storage Server 2008 with SP1 (Acronis Storage Node)

Storage node include my management server, and Created one Centralize Vault with storage node on disk.

I want to File/Folder base backup "storage node machine" but ;

ommand 'Backing up' has failed.

İ am try Acronis Remove tool, and reinstall... and revoke and reassign licence... but not solved...

help me...

Thank you for using Acronis software.

For backing up files or folders from the server, where the Acronis Storage Node where installed, you should have installed an Acronis Agent for windows as well. Without an installed Agent, you cannot backup open or locked files.

If the server has an agent installed, you connect to the Acronis Management Console on that agent and check if a license has been assigned to it.

On the machine, where the Acronis Management Server is running, please check following:

  1. Go to Start -> Run -> regedit.exe
  2. Locate the following registry key:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis\MMS\Configuration\License
  3. Modify the subkey LicenseServerAddress, type in the IP address of License Server and press OK
    (!) It is recommended to use IPv4 address of License Server instead of name or IPv6 address, to prevent possible issues with name resolution.
  4. Restart Acronis services on the machine with Acronis Agent:
    • Go to Start -> Run -> services.msc;
    • Right-click on Acronis Managed Machine Service, and click Restart

I've AMS and storagenode installed on one system. And another system is having Agent installed. When trying to backup volume from agent machine to storagenode, it gives error as "The requested feature 'Backup to storage node' is not found". Please guide me on it...

please make sure that your Backup Agents have valid license. To do so, please refer to this article.
