Backups made and verified but no recovery option?

Thread needs solution

Hi

I have run some backups on my drives and they verified ok.
The next time I started TIB they show, but no recovery option is offered and they say 'backup not run'
What on earth is going on?

It's like TIB doesn't know what its already done :(

You have two tasks lacking the Recovery button. YOu can try stoppingt and starting the program to see if that cures the issue.
If Recover still missing, then use the GH21 method of adding back all tib files for that particular "My Partitions" task and see if that helps.
Repeat GH21 on the other Cherly task as well. Be sure and highlight all tib files created by the individual task before clicking the "add to list".

As your backups are non-scheduled, the message "not backed up" can be ignored as it is an informational message only really saying that you have not used the scheduler to create your backups.

If nothing works, then stop using the two problem tasks and recreate new tasks.

OK thanks, I tried what you suggested but it would not add more than one backup to the list!
It swapped them out, keeping just one when I tried to add the next one.
I have re done all backups and they now look ok, still with the 'not backed up' message but if it's ok to ignore that I will :)

Usually, when needing to add files to the task, you can hold down on the Cntrl key and click multiple tib files with the mouse pointer so all files selected will be added to the listing. All files in one chain should be added as one group when clicking the "Add to list" option.

Once added, the files should appear similar to how they appear in this listing of files of GH5.
