No Sound

Thread needs solution

Greetings,
Welcome to the forums. We are going to need your help, a little more information, please.

You installed a Crucial SSD.... and now your machine has no sound?

What build are you using? What OS? What type of operation was performed, clone, partition restore, full disk image restore?

You've looked in Device Manager and what is listed when you expand the +Sound heading? What troubleshooting steps have you performed?

In addition to these questions, the more information you provide, the easier it might be for others to help you with what appears at this point, a windows problem, not related to Acronis.

My Bad , sorry, Have run updates ,troubleshoot, every thing is where it should be but no sound, check jacks, cables, speakers all are fine.
I have spent hours searching the web for related issues but every that is suggested I've tried and to no avail.Opened device manager and every thing is up to date and checking out ok

Do you have a speaker icon in the System Tray? Does it have a X or interdiction symbol on it? Are you sure you have Playback Device set as Speakers and are using the nVidia Hi Def playback and not something else? It sounds like something is mis-configured, set to the wrong device or muted.

There is no X on the speaker icon in the task bar, shows the device working how ever Nvidia HD device is not there only the digital HD audio device.
When I go to Control Panel-SS, Device Manager- sound and video game controllers they are all there. it does not give me an option to load any other device when I right click on the task bar icon.I have checked for any thing being muted , when I run a diagnostic every thing checks out .
And thank you I appreciate your time here.
