Clone Disk failure - Internal error: free block in NTFSProcessor::RemapBlock (0x70001) Tag = 0x5738609E19DFE946
I'm running Acronis True Image 2013, build 6514 on Windows 7 Pro, sp1.
When attempting to clone the boot disk (C:) to another internal disk, I get this error:
Event Details:
Operation with partition 'C:' was terminated.
Details:
Internal error: free block in NTFSProcessor::RemapBlock (0x70001)
Tag = 0x5738609E19DFE946
Error Code:
More information about this error and solutions may be available online in the Acronis Knowledge Base.
To access the online resource manually, enter the event code at: http://kb.acronis.com/errorcode/
Event code: 0x000101F6+0x00070001
See attachments of event logs. There is no mention of the keyword "RemapBlock" in any forum posting, so I would guess that this is something new. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards,
Scott.

My suggestion would be to check the entire disk (all partitions-both lettered and non-lettered) for disk errors.
Use Windows Disk Management to assign temp drive letters to the non-lettered partition for error checking.
Remove temp letters after checking.

Thanks for the guidance, I really wasn't sure how to proceed with such a cryptic error message. I'm going to guess that just a basic "chkdsk C:" is what you mean. I'll get that underway.

Both partitions are clean.

Problem was resolved by upgrading to True Image 2015.

I get the same error with True Image 2015 when trying to reduce the size or a partion or to move it. chkdsk reveals no errors. Any other ideas?
