pop up message

Thread needs solution

I just bought and downloaded Acronis Backup and Recovery 10.  I keep getting a pop-up message that says "Windows C:\program cannot find Timountermonitor.exe."  I used the Beta version for several weeks and had no problems.  Is the program not loaded correctly?   This is an annoying problem because it keeps popping up.

Hello Fred,

Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/ | Acronis True Image]]

I am sending a file to you via PMs, please install it and see if the issue remains.

Thank you.

I have the same problem. Please send me the file.

Also, or perhaps part of the same problem,

- I get "cannot find file NMCTXTH.EXE and

- When my most important backup comes up (daily) it fails every time because
"failed to open the file '(0)' for reading. Error 1"

Hello George Berman,

Thank you for posting here. I will definitely help you with this issue.

I will send you a PM with the necessary file. Please, let me know if it resolves the problem.

NMCTXTH.EXE is a part of some Cisco application, hopefully some of these articles could be of some help to you.

To resolve the issue with the error message - failed to open the file, please let me know which disk you are backing up and where do you save the backup. Can you also send me an Acronis report, I will be able to determine the cause of this problem.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.

Glad you can help. Odd -- the problem has not come up in 3 of the last 4 backups.

Anyway...

I'm backing up drive H: to drive C:

The Report is attached.

Thanks.
GRB
