Backup / Restore Thinkpad Tablet2

Hi All,
I´ am planning to buy the new TIH2015 Version.
However before I buy the new Version, I need some Information about Backup/Restore Tablet systems.
I need to backup my Thinkpad Tablet 2 and read in an old post, that it wasn´t possible to create a (working) bootable Rescue Media with older versions (TIH 2014/2013), because the Rescue Media wasn´t working with this kind of Tablet systems.
Furthermore it wasn´t possible to restore the whole system (incl. locked partitions. (KB article http://kb.acronis.com/content/43091)
Does anyone know, with the new Version of Acronis TIH2015 is it now possible to create a bootable Acronis Rescue Media (USB-Stick) to boot the Tablet and restore the OS from a backup in case of emergency?
Is it possible to backup and restore the whole system incl. the locked partitions?
Tablet details
Thinkpad Tablet 2, UEFI 32-bit architecture, Win 8.1, Processor Atom Z)
Thanks a lot
Chris

I have an Medion tablet with UEFI Win8.1 etc.
There is no problem in making images of the complete disk (this tablet uses a combination of eMMC/SD Card and spin drive) whilst Windows is running.
There is a problem that requires a work-around when it comes to the restoration media due to the way Medion have implemented the UEFI. I suspect Lenovo will be similar. Basically even with Secure Boot disabled the UEFI will not naturally boot (in my case) from my USB stick with the TI recovery environment on it - neither Linux or WinPe version. There is a way to make it work though.
1. Using WinPe option, run the media builder and select the output file as WIM type. Name it whatever you want but calling it boot.wim will save you having to play with the BCD.
2. With a USB flash drive, insert it into the laptop whilst in Windows and run the Microsoft Recovery Media program.
3. Untick the option to include the recovery media on the USB stick. Windows will now write all the correct UEFI files and Windows boot environment for THAT particular laptop/PC.
4. Once the Windows Recovery program has finished, all you need to do is delete the boot.wim in the sources folder that Windows has made and copy across the one that True Image made.
With Secure Boot disabled on your laptop, your laptop will now boot from the USB drive and run True Image.
Note: You will probably not be able to boot a different brand name UEFI based laptop/PC, these will need their own dedicated boot.wim. In theory this should work if you are using a commercially purchased motherboard (Asus/Rock/Gigabyte/MSI etc) as the UEFIs on these don't have the same security features as those that come from manufacturers who have Windows preinstalled.
There may be another way of doing this, but I've yet to discover it, and, if anyone has found a different way of booting a USB stick on a brand name UEFI system I'd like to know.
I actually make a number of WIM files for different PCs install them with individual names in the sources folder and then run EasyBCD to make a boot menu and just select the WIM file that relates to that PC.
I have not tried booting from a CD on a UEFI system, I think though this shouldn't be a problem like a flash or external hard drive is.
Note 2: If you have a 64 bit system there will be two 'boot' folders as far as the BCD is concerned the one that is in the root directory is the 32 bit version and the one located in resources\efi\microsoft\boot\ is the 64 bit version. If you switch between 32 and 64 bit systems you will need to alter both BCDs.
