Online Backup in task bar?

Does the Online Backup program need to be open to run backups or does it work from the task bar? I do not see an icon in the task bar.

Also can someone point me to the user guide for the On-line backup. It is not listed with the other user guides.

If you schedule a backup then it will run on its own and you will see an icon when it is active. You can double click this (on XP) to open up the window and monitor progress if you wish.

I don't know about the user guide, I can't find it either! But there is one for Backup and Security and you can view the relevant parts in there.
