Hello,
MudCrab, thanks for your help.
iBass iBass, I'll do my best to fix the issue, but first I need additional information from to investigate the issue.
Could you please download Acronis Report utility and run it, create a report and attach it to your reply to this thread? Please compress the Acronis Report output file into an archive (e.g. with WinZip) and attach to your message by browsing for the archive.
This would provide me with detailed information on the hard disk partition structure.
I'm looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.

Can I ask if you have tried to copy any of the data from this partition - I don't necessarily mean with Acronis software or tried to copy all of it. You could try to copy bits of it to another partition until you tried every folder and see if Windows throws up any problems.
I have no idea if it is possible but if no problems do arise and you have the room to 'farm out' all of the data, then you could reformat the partition and try to resize it again and then put things back how you want them.
