Acronis Loader fatal error: Boot drive (partition) not found

I have been using acronis snap deploy off and on since the version 2.0 and I had never seen this error.

The pc is absolutely fine, and loads into Windows XP (yes it's an older computer) just fine. However when I try to boot from the Acronis Boot Disc it comes up with this error every time.

The only fix I can think of is to install acronis locally on that machine and make an image that way.

Any ideas?

Check your BIOS configurations to see whether your HDD is set to ATA or AHCI. Whichever is selected, try the other one. Worked for me, however, you may need to change it back before booting Windows.
