Unable to make full system backup

Thread needs solution

Home Image 2010 does not come with a user guide. Nowhere is it explained how to make a full system backup that includes documents and emails. Trying the product suggests it cannot be done - document folders are backed up but are empty. Even after making separate backups of the system, then a separate document libraries backup, and again for emails, I have very little confidence indeed that the backups made will actually restore, if needed.

Acronis offer many pdf manuals but do not offer one for True Image Home 2010.

Seems to me I'd better go back to relying on Windows 7 own backup system. Any comments anyone?

When using TrueImage Home, the type of backup which offers the best chance of recover for whatever reasons is where the check mark the disk as the type of backup. This is referred to as a "disk option" backup.

This backup backup includes all partitions on the system disk including any boot or recovery or diagnostic partitions. Having such a backup, enables you to restore a single partition or the whole disk or even to a new blank disk.
