TI home 2010 cannot see my sata drives..never got isolinux file!!

Thread needs solution

Hi..This is the first time im using the Acronis TI forum. I have upgraded to TI Home 2010 and installed it on my new pc. It seems not to recognize any of my sata drives using my rescue dvd at boot. Ilya had a post stating there's an "ISOLINUX" file that will correct the problem and it has been posted to everyones acount. I have not received any such iso file. Plese send it to my accont asap. Thank you..BTW..can it be used on a flash drive as well?

You have to login to your account. See this http://kb.acronis.com/content/4828. Its available as a download under bootable media.

The ISO's were there in my account when I check earlier today, both for the base and Plus Pack version.

MudCrab has some information on flash drives.

It appears you have not read Grover's True Image Guides (link on the left under Useful Links).

Hi Gary,

Thanks for ur reply. I did read the section on creating a bootable flash drive and it was complex and ran into problems. I found a much easier waY Tto create one.My question was..would the fixed iso wortk with the flash drive?
I have looked for the iso file under "bootable media" in my account..its not there..could you possibly e-mail it to me? My eml is yoram777@nyc.rr.com. I wish acronis had a phone nbr. I could call.

Thanks for your help,
Yoram

Yoram-

I have no idea why the ISO file is not there. I can't send it to you. You can create a bootable flash drive directly from the Acronis Media Builder in ATI, but if it won't boot with a CD, making a flash drive is not going to make a difference. If you can access your account properly and are fully registered. the ISO file should be there. Click the downarrow to download it.

Gary,

I found the iso file but its dated 2007..I burned the iso a cd and rebooted, but it still didnt see my sata drives..only my firewire backup drive. Ill search for the acronis phone nbr. Thanks for your time.

When I look at the bootable media, I see a file date of Nov 23, 2009. Where did you fins a file date of 2007?
