Does Acronis 2015 work on Windows 10 Tech Preview 9926?
Just wondering ... or, is their a Beta somewhere? We have found that "most" of our apps run very well on Windows 10 ... except, Norton AV

Hope they won't call the cash cow and make TI 2015 artificial obsolete for W10 as they did with TI2014 and Win8, while technically it would be supported. Even TI 2011 works on Windows 8! This was amazing how they managed Microsoft to tell the customers that TI 2014 cannot be installed on Win 8 due to compatibility issues.

My TI 2013 and PP installed on Win 10TP 9926 and works pretty well so far. My previous partition/disk backups cannot be directly restored, I assume because of the drive record changes I read elsewhere. However, I am able to restore items from my Nonstop Backup just fine.

True Image 2014 has always been compatible with Windows 8/8.1.

I can remember that Windows itself blocked the installation and said this product is not compatible and also the cross-upgrade from Windows 7 to 8 was terminated with the same reason that Acronis Trueimage is not compatible. Maybe I mixed it with 2013, if so my regrets. Otherwise it could be that Microsoft included the compatibility meanwhile. But it was not the case for Windows 8 RTM for sure.
On topic, I am part of the customer preview program aswell and use Windows b9926, having no additional issues I hadn't before with Windows 8.x so I can answer with a clear yes, TI 2015 works fine with the current preview of Windows 10.

Well,
I certainly did not have any trouble with TI2014 when upgrading from Win7/64 to Win8.1/64. The upgrade (7to8) and a fresh install on Win8.1 went without any trouble what so ever... I found no problems running and recovering from TI2014 on Win8.
Interesting....
Commenting on the Win10 review upgrade: We did the upgrade from 8.1 to 10 and the upgrade carried every program to the new Win10 preview. Even my oracle virtual WinXP runs... as with a host of other development tools and even the entire adobe suite.
The ONLY thing that did not run after the upgrade to Win 10 was ..... guess... Acronis TIH2014....smile...

In my test of upgrading Windows 8.1 with True Image 2014 to Windows 10, the only feature that didn't work was mounting an image. Using the True image 2014 installer to perform a repair installation restored full functionality.
