Universal deploy!!

Thread needs solution

-We use Acronis Snap and Deploy incl Universal Deployment.
-Use all HP Laptops and PC's
-We have dissimilair hardware.

We have an image (.tib file)
We boot the PC with PXE in the Acronis Snap deploy Agent.
From the management console i manually deploy an image to that machine and halfway in the wizard i choose for "Universal deploy" .
The first question afther that is to add "Mass storage device Drivers" , attachement wizard1. What am i supposed to supply there for it to work?
The second question is to specify a driver location (attachment wizard2), i suppose that is pure for sound and VGA drivers?

I tried to supply the IASTOR.inf etc, but at deploying the process keeps hanging. If i leave te "questions" blank it doenst hang during the deploy process but i get a BSOD ather the deplyment.

So how can io get this Universal deploy working

Hello Tim!

Thank you for your question. I will be glad to help you.

In order to successfully deploy your system onto the dissimilar hardware you need to add the drivers for Mass Storage Devices (chipset, RAID controller, etc.). Please contact the vendor of the dissimilar hardware and request the latest drivers for this mass storage device.

Then please unpack them from the package they are sent to you, so that the drivers were in .inf and .oem format and place in one folder. Specify the path to it on the first step.

Please note that it is strongly not recommended to include any plug-and-play device drivers (sound and VGA, for instance).

I would also advise you to see chapter 2.5 in the User's Guide for more details.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you.
