Incorrect repetition period
Acronis True Image 2009 on Windows XP (one laptop and one desktop) I am getting an error message that says "Incorrect repetition period" when I try to schedule a Daily Data backup task. This message is under "Resultant schedule:" on the the Scheduling Optional Step. No matter what settings I make in this option the message "Incorrect repetition period" remains. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in anticipation!

As far as I know, that problem was supposed to be fixed in the current build (9,796) of TI 2009. If you're using a earlier build and it's working okay otherwise, just ignore the message (it's a bug).

Thanks for the information about this being a 'bug' that should be corrected in the latest Build 9796. I tried to download the latest build (9796) but no matter what I do I cannot download from the Acronis website. I have created an account and I have two registered products that are the original Acronis True Image for Home Version 10 and the Acronis True Image for Home 2009 Upgrade. There must be some secret to getting the latest Build as it only offers me the Build that I already have! Looking forward to your answer to this frustratiing issue!

If you have build 9,709 and it's working okay otherwise, you may be better off sticking with it until the bugs in 9,796 get fixed. Currently there are quite a few causing some major problems.

- Go to the Updates section of Acronis web site at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/updates/.
- Enter your registration e-mail and password. If you forgot your password, please follow the link http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/my/remind/password/.
- Download the latest available build of your Acronis product.

I have had Acronis True Image Version 10 for 2 years and on 17th August 2009 I upgraded to Acronis True Image 2009 which I downloaded over the Internet. I have since had problems and was advised to try the latest Build of the software which according to the Acronis website is 9796 (my Build is 9770). When I go to download the latest Build for my two registered products as you suggest it only offers Build 9770 above the tab that says "Latest Build" which is the Build I already have! So how do you get Build 9796?Thanks...
