TI 2014 not showing backups as being done

Really frustrated. TI 2014 Premium seems to be working fine in that it is making backups on schedule (I have 4 or 5 regularly scheduled backups, some just one folder, a mail backup, a system backup monthly, one disk of two weekly, etc.). If I look on the destination external drive, the backup was made; the log for each job confirms this as well. But the interface shows "not backed up yet" consistently, and once in a while (like today) it even shows erroneous info from another backup. For instance, today (Thursday) I manually backed up a directory (let's call it "directory 1") while my regularly scheduled Wednesday mail backup was made right on time yesterday. But after TI finished backing up directory 1, the interface still said "not backed up yet" for the directory 1 job, but showed "today at 2:45 pm" for the mail backup, though that was NOT made today!

We used to be resellers of TI and I was an avid evangelist for the products. But with later versions, there were more and more problems. I hate to give up my TI; we go back many years. Anything anyone can suggest to fix this? If it helps, this is TI 2014 Premium, Build 6673 fully registered and activated.

I'm confused---this isn't showing up in the forum, and therefore has no responses, but it's here in my account. I see posts made before and after mine, so it can't be there's just a delay. Am I doing something wrong?
