The OS kernel in the Linux based Acronis True Image 2013 Rescue Media requires a processor that supports PAE.

You will need to contact Acronis support and open a case with them.

They may be able to supply you with an ISO image that can be used to create a new Rescue Media CD/DVD that does not require PAE.

Does your system have a Pentium M (mobile) running at 400 MHz?

From Wikipedia:

PAE

First implemented in the Intel Pentium Pro in 1995, it was extended by AMD to add a level to the page table hierarchy, to allow it to handle up to 52-bit physical addresses, add NX bit functionality, and make it the mandatory memory paging model in long mode. PAE is supported by Intel Pentium Pro and later Pentium-series processors except most 400 MHz-bus versions of the Pentium M. It is also available on AMD processors such as the AMD Athlon and later AMD processor models.

Hi,

sorry for upping this post.
I have the same problem. Unfortunately I can't open a case with my account because the support is discontinued.
As I understand, there is a ISO Image that does not require PAE.
Is there any way to get this version?

Thx
John
