Cannot add licenses to ALS
Hello
We recently purchased your product Arconis Backup and recovery workstation. After installation of the ALS we tried to add licenses however the only message we get is that "FAILED to add liceses".
No matter if we try to add them manually or by file import.
The same serial numbers has been registered with acronis Online.
Please advise

Are there other situations that are affected by having a standalone version of the Acronis Backup & Recovery Workstation? (e.g. being able to remotely manage the workstation, use centralized vaults, etc)
I purchased one Advanced Workstation which appears to allow it to be licensed using the Acronis License Server.
Also, does the standalone workstation have a different install? When I recieved the email with the links there appeared to be several links to the same download so I only downloaded what appeared to be three distinct download links.

Thank you for posting and welcome to our forum! I will be happy to assist you.
You are correct, the standalone version of Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 Workstation does not allow remote management, central management and centralized vaults. In order to use these features, Acronis Backup and Recovery 10 Advanced Workstation is required.
I can recommend the following software comparison tables:

The standalone workstation does have a different installation file, it is approximately 320 MBs in size. The advanced workstation is about 807 MBs. The installation packages already include all the additional components in them, such as Acronis Universal Restore and Deduplication, that is why you correctly assumed, that there is no need to download the identical files. Our software installs automatically according to the serial number provided and the operating system detected.

I wish to trial the Backup and Recovery 10 Advanced Server with remote management for 4 servers to backup to a central vault located on the license server's RAID5. I applied for the trial licenses for MSSQL, Online Backup, Advanced Server but none are accepted by the license server and I have zero functionality. The error message is 'Failed to add the license keys'. How do I proceed to commence my evaluation?

At least for Backup&Recovery, trial licenses are not added to LS, they are entered directly into the installer when you select 'install trial version'. Then, the entity that stores backups on its disks is not a license server, it's more like a Storage Node.
