Accidentally (sort of) Deleted Secure Zone Partition

Thread needs solution

I wanted to get rid of my old image of Windows 7 as it was now redundant and got rid of it's partition via Acronis True Image Home. It did free up 10GB of space, as expected, the original backup was about that size if I remember. However, something didn't make sense, my hard drive is 120GB and is currently telling me that it's capacity is 111GB so I am missing about 10GB, also when I investigated this problem more, I found out that in "Backup And Restore > Manage And Restore > Acronis Secure Zone" there was a backup. This was where I think the 10GB went, but it had disappeared before my eyes. It mentioned something about the partition not being there, the one that I removed.

In an ideal scenario, the backup information was sort of cached into Acronis when it loaded and not updated when I removed the partition. This would at least make sure that there actually isn't a backup there, or not now there isn't and I can find out what else is taking up the space, other that anything to do with Acronis.

So my question is, is there anyway to browse low-level (seen as it is likely to be hidden to Explorer) to find if this backup does exist somewhere and delete it if so?

Thank you for taking the time to help, much appreciated.

If the 120Gb is the size stated by the maker, then the actual size "seen" by windows will be about 7% less than that. My 160Gb drives show up as 149Gb in windows so your 111 sounds about right.
