Limited access to knowledge base

Thread needs solution

Hi,

looking for a problem solution I found  the knowledge base entry number 2948 "BartPE with Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 Plug-in Does Not Work". If I want to read the article, I get a 'Access denied'. The forum's username and password are rejected.

Is there a special limitation?

I'm just guessing, but it may be that the article isn't yet finished or hasn't been set to allow Public Access. The username asked for is actually a "Knowledge base" username. I assume this is different from a standard user's Acronis account username.

Joe, you're trying to access the article with Internal level of access. What's why you're getting Access Denied Error Message.

The Knowledge Base and Forums are using same accounts, however not all the resources are available for public access.

Just wondering - how you was able to find this article?

I dont't know it exactly, but while searching the knowledge base the titel of #2948 was shown - together with other matches. So I tried several times to get the full text - without success.

If it's a secret, you should hide it completely :-)

The article comes up in a standard search. You can search for 2948 or BartPE, for example.

I could not find export/import procedures. But in c:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Scripts\ are xml files with the extension '.tis' obviously containing backup rules. I've stored copies of these files on another drive. I hope they will do their job in case of a clean new ATI installation.
