Changing Computer Name where Management Server Resides

Hello,
I have an installation of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5 Advanced Server management server that resides on a system which I would like to change the computer name on. I am trying to find what steps need to be taken to ensure a smooth change for the server, license server and the systems with managed agents. One concern is that the managed agents might lose communication with the license server and not be able to regain communication. Will this affect my vault in any way?

Hi Jetskeez,

Thank you for your posting! I would suggest to specify the License Server and the Management Server via IP-address, so that the name change would not affect the communication between components. On the machine with AMS navigate to Options -> Management Server options -> License Server, specify LS per IP. On the Agents side navigate to Options -> Machine options -> Machine management and type the IP/address of the AMS.
