Event ID 10003 DCOM - Editing problems to correct

Thread needs solution

Advance server 10 product is loaded as a trial on our Windows 2000 server.

It has generated filled our log with events 10003. I have read the knowledge based articles from this website and Microsoft regarding granting application DCOM permission.

However the actual names of objects I must click on differ. For example in regedit it is ProgID rather than AppID.

This I am OK with but what is my stumbling block is that in Component Services, after double clicking My Computer I do not see DCOM Config. Instead I get COM+ Applications and Distributed Transaction Coordinator.

If I click on either of these I am unable to locate either the program friendly name of the AppID.

Any help greatly appreciated
